Felix Rubi: Vaquero Transfer Spotlight

Felix Rubi had a dream of succeeding in and out of the classroom when he played baseball at GCC and transferred to UCLA in the fall of 2018.  He did so after earning All-Western State Conference First Team honors as a relief pitcher for the Conference Champion Vaqueros in 2018. In 2019, he helped the Bruins win the Pac 12 title and started three games among his 11 appearances, his most impressive being a strong relief stint against Baylor in the College World Series.  He is a graduate from Kennedy High School and will graduate from UCLA with a degree in geography and a certificate in GIS.
