GCC's Cooper Bowen hit a eighth inning triple and scored on an error on a ball  hit by Jackson Benattar to help give Glendale a 1-0 win over visiting El Camino College Thursday Feb.15 at Stengel Field. The Vaqs improved to 4-3 with the victory.

 

Andrew Cisneros and Benattar each had two hits for GCC and Andrew Kearney had one hit in support of starting pitcher Matt Cuccias who went five innings and struck out four and winning pitcher Daniel Neria who got the win with three scoreless innings and Joeseph Perez who notched his second save with a flawless ninth inning.

 

GCC ends the week with a pair of games Friday Feb. 16 at home at 1 and 4 pm against Golden West College at Stengel Field.
