Andrew Cisneros singles home winning run and has four hits in 13-12 win over Antelope Valley College March 14
In a conference game that saw the lead change hands several times, the GCC Baseball Team got the best of visiting Antelope Valley College 13-12 in 10 innings Thursday March 14. Andrew Cisneros had four hits in the game and drove home Izzy Madariaga with the winning run on a single to help Glendale improve to 3-2 in WSC play and 12-9 overall. 
 
Glendale had 15 hits in the game and five extra base knocks as Ethan Pena and Jaden Rez hit homers. and they also used six pitchers as Shane Alderete got the start and was roughed up early as GCC trailed 6-1 after three innings before rallying with Joseph Perez getting the win by setting the visitors down in the 10th inning by striking out two. Ethan Kearney, Jackson Benettar, Madariaga and Pena all had two hits each and Alex Laureano had three RBI including a two-run double.
 
GCC closes out the series against Antelope Valley with a 1 pm game on the road Saturday March 16.
