The GCC Baseball Team swept its second straight WSC South series with three wins and two shutouts over West L.A. College, 7-2 March 19, 9-0 March 21 and 7-0 March 22. Glendale is now 16-9 overall and 7-2 in conference play and has won six straight games.

7-2-win March 19-Dylan Goodrich got the pitching win with four innings on the mound and David Vergera, Luis Fernandez and Joseph Perez pitched in relief. An RBI double by Sam Grunberg, one of his two hits, got the offense rolling and Gabe Juarez added a two-run single in the ninth inning.

9-0 win-March 21- Glendale had eight doubles in the game at Stengel; Field and Ethan Kearney had a triple and Gabe Juarez had a solo homer in support of winning pitcher Matt Cuccias who had 11 strikeouts and allowed just three hits in seven innings and Daniel Neria pitched two innings in relief.. Jackson Benattar and Izzy Madariaga had a pair of doubles each and Madariaga has three hits and four RBI.

7-0-win March 22-Starting pitcher Joe Estrada had a complete game win to improve to 3-1 and stuck out 10 and allowed just four hits. Ethan Kearney and Sam Grunberg each had two hits and Jackson Benattar and Jayden Rez had doubles and Jayden Rez had a triple.
GCC is off from WSC South play this week and hosts Santa Barbara City College Tuesday March 26 in a doubleheader at noon and 3 pm at Stengel Field.
