Baseball Concludes 2025 Season Stacking Conference, Regional, and Super-Regional Titles
Throughout the 2025 season, Glendale College again proved itself to be one of the best programs in Southern California.  The Vaqueros captured the Western State Conference South title along with CCCAA Regional and Super Regional championships while earning the #8 ranking in the CCCAA final state poll: https://3c2asports.org/sports/bsb/2024-25/releases/20250529g9rkf0

Glendale's season came to an end at the hands of eventual 2025 state champion Mt. SAC.  The Vaqs were blown out on day one of the regional final only to bounce back on day two behind a strong start from Wichita State commit and ABCA All-American Matthew Cuccias. A controversial call in the top of the 8th inning overturned what would have been an inning-ending double play allowing the Mounties an opportunity to strike for three runs and narrow the lead to 8-6.  With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vaqs rallied to load the bases and had a 3-0 count on All-American Ethan Pena before stranding the winning run on third and succumbing in extra innings by a score of 9-8.

Glendale finished the season 33-15-1 and a 20-1 conference record. Since 2010-2011 the Vaqs have captured ten of the last thirteen conference titles (two seasons were canceled due to COVID).
