GCC Football falls out of tie for first place in Pacific League with 37-0 loss to Pasadena Nov. 4
It was billed as a battle for first place in the Pacific League but the Glendale College Football team could not overcome a slow start against Pasadena City College Saturday Nov. 4 and fell to the host Lancers 37-0 Saturday Nov. 4. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Vaqs, now 3-1 in league and 6-3 overall.

PCC led the Vaqueros from start to finish and stifled the Vaqieros offensively as they gained just 70 yards of total offense and had just three first downs. Sophomore Chuck Shull led the defensive effort with 11 tackles, eight solo and Toriano King added six solo tackles.

Glendale ends the regular season on the road in a league game Saturday Nov. 11 at L.A. Southwest College at 1 pm.
