On a cool night in Santa Monica Nov. 2, the GCC Football Team could not sustain an early 14-3 first half lead and fell to the Corsairs 50-14. They are now 5-3 overall and 1-2 in Pacific League play.
Angelo Easter had 164 total yards, 35 on three catches and one touchdown and he returned four kicks for 129 yards. D. J. Cole rushed for 90 yards on 17 carries and Zavontae Flournoy-Trice scored once and had 37 yards on five carries and quarterback Jackson Askins passed for 131 yards on 17 completions in 32 attempts. State sack leader Dario Sandoval had 2.5 against the Corsairs to go with six tackles and Sebastian Herrarte led the defense with nine stops and Isaac Robinson also had six tackles.
Glendale continues Pacific League play with a noon contest Saturday Nov. 9 against Pasadena City College at Sartoris Field.
