The Glendale College Men's Basketball team dropped a pair of games in the West Los Angeles College Wild West Tournament last weekend, 72-64 to Long Beach City College last Thursday and 92-88 over L.A. Valley College Friday in iovertime. The Vaqueros are 2-5 this season.
In the loss to Valley, Serigne Athj led Glendale with 25 points and also had seven rebounds and a team high four assists. Chris Daniels added 18 points and had a team high eight rebounds, Steven Hubbell had 13 points and Dominic Gully had 11 points to pace Glendale.
The Vaqueros play in the Cypress College Don Johnson Classic Thursday-Saturday Dec. 7-9 and face Irvine Valley College Thursday Dec. 7 at 4 pm.
