MBB uses strong guard play to beat College of the Canyons 84-72 Feb. 21
Starting guards Tyson Jackson and Dahnte Russell combined for 43 points to lead the GCC Men's Basketball to a 84-72 win at College of the Canyons Feb. 21. The WSC South win for the Vaqs gives them a 14-13 overall mark and they are 7-6 in conference play.
 
Tyson Jackson led Glendale in scoring with 25 points and Dahnte Russell added 18 points and four assists. Braxton Williams had 13 points and three assists and Karson Peffer added 11 points, five rebounds and five assists.
 
GCC concludes the regular season Friday Feb. 23 with a 5 pm home game against Antelope Valley College in the Verdugo Gym. The team's sophomores will be honored before the start of the game.
