Men's Soccer team falls to 1-2 after 3-0 loss to Cypress
The GCC Men's Soccer team fell to 1-2 this season after losing to Cypress College 3-0 Tuesday Sept. 3 at Sartoris Field.
The Cougars scored midway through the first half to claim a 1-0 lead and added a goal to make it 2-0 at halftime. Glendale struggled to gain an offensive punch throughout the game but did manage seven shots on goal and battled for every ball in the physical contest.
Alfredo "Tito" Tejada had eight saves on the night but could not turn back a third goal by Cypress to make the final score 3-0. The Vaqs play at El Camino Friday Sept. 6 at 4 pm.
