**Glendale, CA - September 10, 2024** — In a tense and competitive match, the Glendale College Vaqueros came up short against Los Angeles City, suffering a 1-0 defeat at home. The Vaqueros, now 2-2-0 on the season, were unable to break through Los Angeles City's resolute defense, who improved their record to 4-2-0 with the victory.
The lone goal of the match came in the 23rd minute when Los Angeles City's Daniel Lopez Rosas capitalized on a moment of opportunity. Lopez Rosas, receiving an unassisted pass, expertly found the back of the net to give his team a crucial early lead. Despite the Vaqueros' best efforts, they were unable to find an equalizer.
