Laura was the assistant coach for the GCC men’s team from 2006-2013 and took over as head coach in 2014. She is a full-time professor in the Kinesiology Division & the Disabled Student Programs and Services Department. Laura played club & high school soccer while growing up in Hawaii, was a starting goal keeper at Willamette University (1991-1995), and continues to play in her spare time. Laura was the assistant coach for GCC’s women’s team from 2000-2004. She was also an assistant coach at Crescenta Valley Soccer Club in 2007 & 2008. She is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the Cal South Soccer Coaches Association, the CA Community Colleges Soccer Coaches Association (CCCSCA), and the Alliance of Women Coaches.
