WSC Prelims and Finals at Ventura College and Moorpark College
Men's Highlights:

Juan Zamora III (Sophomore) demonstrated remarkable courage by leading the majority of the 10,000m final, ultimately claiming the title of WSC 10,000m Champion with a time of 32:28.93. His performance met the 3C2A 2025 State Championship "A" standard and currently ranks him 10th on the statewide leaderboard. Zamora returned for the 5,000m, where he aggressively set the pace and fiercely defended his lead until the final 20 meters, ultimately finishing second with a time of 15:18.44. Both performances have qualified him for the 10,000m and 5,000m SoCal Regional Finals.

Isaiah Garcia (Sophomore) delivered an impressive personal best in the 3,000m steeplechase, clocking 10:14.95 — a 12-second improvement. Garcia placed 4th overall and has earned a spot in the SoCal Regional 3,000m steeplechase preliminaries.

Victor Amaya (Freshman) qualified for the SoCal Regional Prelims in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:42.33.

Fabrizio Valdivia (Sophomore) ran a strong and strategic 1,500m race, achieving a new personal best of 4:09.69, improving by 2 seconds. Valdivia has qualified for the SoCal Regional 1,500m preliminaries.

Ronald Fuentes (Sophomore) secured qualification for the SoCal Regional Prelims in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.29.

Julien Rivera (Sophomore) advanced to the SoCal Regional Prelims in the shot put with a mark of 10.73 meters.
Women's Highlights:

Lilit Arakelyan (Sophomore) defended her 2024 title and was once again crowned the WSC 3,000m Steeplechase Champion, setting a new personal best of 11:17.19. Her outstanding effort reinforces her dominance in the event over consecutive seasons.

Rashel-Alvarez Chavez (Freshman) qualified for the SoCal Regional 1,500m preliminaries after a strong showing at the WSC Championships.
