Six GCC Softball players earn all-conference recognition in 2024  Torii Forsberg-First Team All-WSC and All-Southern California
After overcoming numerous obstacles in her time at GCC, inc. a second ACL surgery and car accident where she broke her pitching arm, she put together a stellar season in her Sophomore year both at the plate and in the circle. She led the conference in wins (16) and was second in strike outs. Also hit .410 at the plate.
 
Mya Chacon-First Team All-WSC and All Southern California
 
Led conference in batting avg, at .514., On Base Percentage of 609, and runs scored. Third in the state in batting avg. of 482 & first in outfield assists. A scholar-athlete, she Is in the process of choosing from scholarship offers from several D1 and D2 schools. She was integral to GCC's success as the leadoff hitter and her positive attitude was infectious throughout the team.
 
 
Lilly Brito-Second Team All-WSC
 
Lilly was an honorable mention player as a freshman and improved greatly this year and was a major contributor alternating between playing the outfield and catcher. Her positive outlook was a major factor in team success this year. She batted clean up all season. and had a .313 batting average. She excelled in the classroom as a scholar-athlete.  
 
Arlene Islas-Second Team All-WSC
 
Made an immediate impression as a freshman, getting many big hits in games and providing solid defense. Led all GCC Freshmen with a batting average of.309 and tied for second on the team with 27 RBI. Will be counted on to be a team leader as a sophomore in 2025.
 
 
Natasha Cohen-Honorable Mention All-WSC
 
 
Locally known for playing four years of Varsity baseball at Hoover High School. After her transition to softball as a Freshman, she excelled as Sophomore, playing several positions and being voted WSC Honorable Mention. A Scholar-athlete, she will further her education at Long Beach State in the Fall. Angelica Saldana-Honorable Mention All-WSC She emerged in her sophomore year to be the team's starting catcher and had a positive, motivating presence on the team and contributed strongly both offensively and defensively and was a scholar-athlete.
