Taking nothing for granted and leaving it all on the floor, the GCC Women's Basketball Team continues to rack up wins and attention as they improved to 21-1, 21 straight, with a 78-55 win over West L. A. College Saturday Feb. 1 in the Verdugo Gym.

Entering the second half of WSC South play and holding at least a two game advantage in the standings, the Lady Vaqs Led by just eight at the half but built that up thanks to some hot shooting by sophomores Tess Oakley-Stilson and Zoe Rouse, who led the team with 20 points each. Rouse also had a team high seven rebounds and she and teammate Penelopi Trieu each nailed four three's as GCC connected on 12 for the game. Trieu added 12 points and Jada Aldana kicked in with 13 off the bench and a team high eight rebounds.

Glendale continues WSC play next week at L.A. Valley Feb. 5 at 5 pm and home Saturday Feb. 8 against Bakersfield College At 3 pm.
