In order to extricate themselves from a two-game losing streak, the Glendale College Women's Basketball Team was able to get a second straight win against a familiar foe this season as they beat El Camino College 55-33 Saturday, Dec. 3 to split a pair of games in the Orange Coast College rossover event to improve to 5-2. GCC fell to host Orange Coast College 80-65 Friday, Dec. 2.

The Lady Vaqs beat El Camino 61-24 on Nov. 22 and played themselves into an early advantage Saturday as they jumped out to a 30-21 halftime lead and never trailed as 12 players took the floor for Glendale, 10 scored showcasing a balanced attack. Tory Delacroix led the team with nine points, Cherilyn Legaspi had eight points and Kaitlynn Key had six points and a team high eight rebounds.

Glendale has a busy week this week starting with a home game Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. in the Verdugo Gym against San Diego City College. The lady Vaqs then travel to San Luis Obispo for a pair of games against Allan Hancock College Friday, Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. and against Cuesta College, Saturday, at 1 p.m.
