Haley Tsarofski scored three goals to pace the Glendale College women's Soccer Team to a 5-1 win over visiting Imperial Valley College Tuesday September 4 at Sartoris Field.
Now 2-0, the Lady Vaqs were tied with the Arabs 1-1 at halftime thanks to a Elsa Rocha goal. Adriana Sarukhanyan scored in the early stages of the second half to give Glendale a 2-1 lead and then Tsarofski scored three times, twice on assists by Amber Flores. Joceline Castaneda-Tapia had three saves in the goalie box to pace the defense.
Glendale has bye Friday and plays at Imperial College Tuesday Sept. 11 and at Compton Friday Sept. 14.
