Three goals by Sararian Bediikian pace GCC to 5-1 win over Oxnard
Sarina Bedikian scored three goals and Ani Krikorian and Maria Garcia De Asis added one score each as the GCC Women's Soccer Team beat Oxnard 5-1 Tuesday night in a non-conference game at Sartoris Field. The Lady Vaqs evened its record at 2-1 while the Condors fell to 0-4.
Glendale led 2-1 at halftime but poured in on with three goals in the second half. Adriana Sarukhayan had two assists on the night and led all players with 13 shot attempts. Paulina Torres and Meenelly Banonian assisted on goals as well. Kayauna Reece had five goalie saves.
Glendale plays next at Cerro Coso Friday September 13 at 6 pm.
