Sophomore Madison Messier scored an unassisted goal late in the second half with GCC trailing 1-0 to help the Lady Vaqs come away with a 1-1 tie in a Western State Conference matchup against visiting Antelope Valley College Friday Oct. 4 at Sartoris Field. GCC fell to College of the Canyons 2-0 Oct. 1.
 
Goalie Liliana Reynoso had three saves for Glendale.
 
GCC hosts Santa Monica Tuesday at 4 pm at Sartoris Field and plays at L.A. Valley College Friday Oct. 11 at 4 pm.
