A snapshot of the 2024 season for the GCC Women's Soccer Team unfolded in the WSC game against L.A. Valley College Tuesday Nov. 5 at Sartoris Field as Glendale took a two-goal lead in the second half only to surrender two late goals in a 3-3 tie. The Lady Vaqs are now 6-9-3 overall and 2-7-2 in WSC play.
Gianna Mor scored in the first half to give GCC a 1-0 lead and Jordan Mollareza scored two second half goals, both assisted by Luisa Hilario, to help extend the lead to 3-1 before Valley rallied to secure the tie. Liliana Reynoso had five saves for Glendale.
GCC completes play this week with a 3 pm game at Bakersfield College Friday Nov. 8.
