SoCal Championship recaps

The Glendale Cross Country teams returned from San Diego this past Friday with some regional hardware. The women came home as Southern California Champions for the first time since 2016, scoring a total of 58 points, which was 49 points ahead of second place Saddleback College. Yajaira Calderon would be the top finisher for Glendale coming in 3^rd place in a time of 19:41.7. Jamie Levin would follow Calderon in 8^th place with a time of 19:54.9. They were followed by Phoebe Forsyth (20:02.4) who came in 9^th, Bianca Biel (20:09.1) who took 12^th, and Lydia Forsyth (20:54.4) who would finish in 26^th place to round out the top five scorers. Viviana Del Campo would come in at 51^st with a time of 21:46.9, and Jasmine Corralejo would finish 55^th in a time of 22:02.5.
